SF6311 Story & Narrative
SF6311 Story & Narrative studies the role of stories, narrative, and storytelling practices for faith formation, identity development, meaning-making, and community wisdom. Students analyze case studies and craft their own stories for teaching.
This course examines the power of story and storytelling in faith development, spirituality, and ministry.
Students will:
- Discuss biblical and theological functions of story
- Learn narrative interpretive approaches and storytelling techniques
- Apply story crafting and delivery tools through ministry cases
- Develop skills for story-centered teaching, preaching, and pastoral care
