Our integrated MDiv/MBA program uniquely merges essential theological training with business leadership development to equip graduates to effectively lead and manage faith-based organizations. MDiv/Biblical Studies (87 Credits)

The MDiv Biblical Studies program provides students a deep grounding in Scripture and Christian history alongside practical ministerial training. Students take 24 credits of advanced biblical interpretation, language, and exegesis coursework focused on close reading competencies allowing them to expertly handle Old and New Testament texts. They also complete 15 credits examining Christian theology and church history. To apply this knowledge, the program includes 27 credits developing pastoral skills for spiritually forming congregants, providing soul care, organizing corporate worship, preaching, managing conflict, and shepherding parishioners through milestones. An integrative capstone synthesizes academic insight with real-world ministry engagement prepared through field education components. Upon graduating, students are thoroughly prepared vocationally, intellectually, and spiritually to assume ministerial leadership grounded in biblical authority and sensitive ecclesial service.

Spiritual Formation (12 Credits)

Residency
A semester long internship is required under the guidance of a local Spiritual Director in the last semester of the the student's journey.
Retreat
Each SF Seminarian is required to go on a weekend retreat for four semester to cultivate practices and liturgies for inner healing and outward reflection.
Capstone
The Capstone project is a pratical guide that will offer the Spiritual Formation field advice, guidance, and vitality.

MBA for Faithleaders (30 Credits)

The MBA for Faithleaders uniquely equips ministry leaders and administrators with business insights tailored for management of faith-based organizations and churches. The program grounds students in foundational business concepts, managerial economics, organizational psychology and leadership dynamics including developing resonant cultures. Coursework dives into essential skills for stewarding ministry resources like fundraising, data-driven decision making, contextualized marketing, and nonprofit accounting best practices.
